Scuba Rangers is a 'WAY COOL' way to learn to Dive. A weekly course usually run during school holidays to provide each child with the opportunity to get wet and have fun. The course materials; a colourful Dive Log and Manual combines the DVD cartoon characters ensuring practical application of the skills and knowledge to be gained whilst learning to dive on Scuba. The finale 'Demo Day' is the opportunity for the children to demonstrate the skills learnt accessing the first accolade of achievement in becoming a qualified Scuba Ranger! We continue to invite each ranger to participate further ‘Bubble Sessions’ — a confined activity as with the course in our indoor heated swimming pool where more education and fun events develop the child's confidence and ability. The idea is for each child to familiarize retaining their interest of the knowledge and understanding required for each to access 'Junior Open Water Diver Course' once they have reached the age of 12years and up.

The only prerequisite; Children should be able to swim 25 metres and be medically fit to dive.

The Open Water Course offers all our customers from the age of 15 and upwards the chance to develop the knowledge and skills you will need to enjoy a lifetime of Underwater Exploration.

Within the company of a Dive Professional Instructor, you will with the inclusive course materials be provided with the necessary equipment to feel confident and comfortable to learn to dive in our Professional, Fun, Safe Diving Environment to access our own onsite Heated indoor swimming pool specifically built for training purposes.

In association with Scuba Schools International you will gain the qualification to become a recognized Diver anywhere around the world to dive up to a qualifying depth of 18 metres. Here at BCDA we feel you deserve more time with the instructor, we have limited our class numbers to ensure you maximize the time spent in the water, ensuring your levels of skill are developed with ease and comfort. With Greater Knowledge and Awareness we provide you with all the latest life support equipment for you to dive safely, inclusive of computers to monitor your air supply and depths. Our local shore diving provides the conditions to access ease of the skills you will require to implement when we take you out for your final two dives off our fully equipped boat to the colourful reef systems here off our coast.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to finish your final two dives off our Helicopter 'Nemo' at the pristine sites of the Abrolhos Islands.

Providing a four - five day course inclusive of; crew pack, equipment hire, boat dives, certification. That you can join over two consecutive weekends or alternatively a weekly block course.

All you need are your bathers, towel and a keen interest to get wet to have some 'Serious Diving, Serious Fun!' If you are between the ages of 12 & 15 you can take the Junior Open Water Diver Course.

Already qualified your next level; 'The Advanced Adventurer' can provide you with the opportunity to experience something new. Opening up a whole new experience to enjoy selecting from our 'Specialty Menu' to flavour your next dive adventure! The course offers you the recognition to further your knowledge and experience to sustain your interest to dive and gain more experience whilst diving in the company of one of our dive professionals here at BCDA. You could select to learn to dive deeper to explore accessing our very own wreck site the ‘South TOMI’ whilst diving with ‘Enriched Air’ a mix which could also enhance better dive profiles or try ‘Boat Diving’ instead of shore diving. The choice is endless down to the combination you choose according to your individual interests.

There are no exams with this course- all you do is go diving we do the rest in accrediting you for your level of experience! Can be run over one weekend or according to your free time to get in and dive with us, course is fully inclusive of certification to your next level... so come on in and DIVE!!!

Advancing your knowledge into Diver 'Stress & Rescue' will make your diving 'Safe and Fun'. Through informative real world scenarios combined with your Home Study you will with our experienced Dive Instruction Learn to Dive within safe practice to respond to circumstances that may further you to Dive SAFE. You will learn to detect the causes and prevention of Stress, detect dealing with diving related stress in yourself and your buddy, learn accident management procedures, rescue skills for yourself and others with implementing the simple safe effective search patterns.

Informing you of the Professional attitude that is associated with this level and interest to develope your experience as responsible divers.

This course offers you the prerequisite to become a Master Scuba Diver and Dive Control Specialist.

Dive Control Specialist is the 1st Professional Level to be reached in diving. This course is designed for divers who seek to retain further knowledge and experience to become responsible divers who choose to develop their diving towards leadership associated with this level of experience. Dive control is a position in the Dive Industry where you can learn to be accountable with the acquisition of the necessary skills that will be required for you to implement promoting the future of diving. During your training you will learn to assist Instructors, to acquire the confidence, knowledge, understanding and skills required in becoming a Dive Control Specialist.

One of our most popular Specialty Experiences. 'NIGHT DIVING' is a time when diving optimises the species of fish life to be witnessed. This Specialty provides the opportunity to develop your abilities and capability to enhance the techniques you will require when diving in Limited Visibility or at Night.

Night diving is an equipment intensive sport but one that will provide you with a wealth of new experiences you'll want to continue to log. Your skills will be developed to ensure knowledgeable use of the equipment you require. Assisting your comfort and knowledge of when to dive in the varied locations you choose to travel to whether diving off the shore or boat.

Diving Deeper can access some pristine locations all around the world; whether choosing to dive Coral Walls, Deep Wrecks or simply assisting your comfort and knowledge. Within the company of our dive Instructor onboard our boat you will access some deeper dive profiles to ensure you learn to implement effective deep diving plans, proper surface supports with the use of the appropriate backup equipment to enhance your scuba skills for deep diving whilst recognizing and handling hazards for the use of all necessary specialty equipment.

The course is fully inclusive of course materials, certification and boat dives. Certifying you to a maximum depth of 39 metres.

The Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Course will introduce you to the benefits of diving on Nitrox. You will learn through 'Home Study' to calculate and utilize the Specialty Tables associated with diving on Enriched Air. Reviewing a knowledge of Physics and physiology of diving with Nitrox, how to Analyze Nitrox in your cylinder, Planning Nitrox dives, Using Nitrox dive computers and the SSI Nitrox tables, Managing exposure to nitrogen, 32% and 36% Nitrox (and other mixes) accessing 02 clean and O2 service rated equipment. So come on into BCDA and learn to extend the benefits of your dive profiles and dive with Nitrox. Your Dives accredit you with your recognized level of achievement accessing your ticket to Nitrox Fills around the globe. The course is inclusive of materials, dives and certification.
